App Privacy Policy

Data collected by the app

Bobby collects the minimum data necessary to function:

• Anonymous user identifier (UUID) — generated locally, no personal information
• Profile nickname — optional, chosen by you
• Tasks, memos, and completion records — the content you create
• List memberships and roles — to enable shared lists
• Device identifier — for push notification delivery
• Subscription status — to manage premium features

Authentication

Bobby is anonymous by default. No email or personal information is required to use the app. You may optionally link a Google or Apple account for cross-device access. When linked, we store only the provider identifier — not your email, name, or profile picture.

Data synchronization

Your data is stored locally on your device and synchronized to our servers via encrypted connection (TLS). Data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform in the EU (europe-west1, Belgium). Synchronization enables multi-device access and shared lists.

Push notifications

Push notifications are opt-in. When enabled, your device token is stored to deliver task reminders. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or your device settings.

In-app purchases

Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Purchase validation is handled by RevenueCat. We store only your subscription status and expiration date — not payment details.

Analytics

The Bobby app does not include any third-party analytics SDK. No usage tracking, no crash reporting to third parties, no advertising identifiers.

Children's privacy

Bobby is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Bobby's anonymous-first design means no personal data is required to use the app.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app (Profile > Settings > Delete account). Deletion is permanent and immediate. You may also contact us at bobby@leyoshe.com
